When you enter financial parameters—such as your monthly investment amount, target corpus, expected return rates, or investment duration—these values are processed exclusively in your web browser's local memory (JavaScript engine).

None of your financial inputs are transmitted across the internet to our servers, nor are they recorded in any database. If you disconnect your internet connection after loading the webpage, the calculator continues to work with full fidelity.

2. Data We Explicitly Do Not Collect

  • No Bank Account or PAN Information: We never ask for, collect, or store PAN cards, bank account details, demat account numbers, or KYC documents.
  • No Phone Numbers or Lead Capture: We do not ask for your mobile number to unlock calculation results or bombard you with insurance/loan sales calls.
  • No Behavioral Financial Profiling: We do not track your financial habits or build credit/investing profiles.

3. Cookies and Browser Local Storage

SIPCalculator.app uses local storage and standard cookies solely to ensure core website functionality and deliver non-intrusive advertising:

  • Theme Preference: The key theme is stored in your browser's localStorage to remember whether you selected Light Mode or Dark Mode between page visits.
  • URL Share State: If you use the "Share Plan" feature, your parameters are encoded into the URL query string (e.g. ?p=10000&r=12) so that you can bookmark or share your calculation. This URL is parsed solely on the client.
  • Functional Cookies: Cookies may be used to maintain basic session settings, prevent spam, and ensure optimal delivery across Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).

4. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

We use Google AdSense to display relevant, non-intrusive advertisements that help fund the free development and hosting of this platform. As part of this service, Google and its third-party advertising partners adhere to the following standards:

  • HTTP status codes

These logs are maintained solely for system security, DDoS mitigation, and network diagnostic purposes, and are automatically deleted by the hosting infrastructure according to standard log retention cycles.
